What Will It Cost
No matter what type of move, a free in-home estimate is the best way to get an accurate idea of overall price. Over the phone estimates can often be misleading and items can be missed. This way we can go over cost saving tips, talk about access and preparation, and get an accurate idea of what needs to be moved. Remember, the 2 main factors in price in any move is how prepared you are and how much stuff you have!
Local
(Within 55 miles of the Tri-Cities)
The cost factors in an hourly move are:
1. Preparation: We can do it all, but the more prepared you are, the more efficient we can move you! (see our tips page)
2. Volume: How much stuff you have including boxes!
3. Access: The type of residence at origin and destination- stairs, elevators, loading points, driveway and size of home!
4. Travel and Wait Time: We charge from the time we leave the shop until we return. Also when you have access to unload plays a part.
5. Storage: If we need to store your items on our truck or in our warehouse.
These factors determine how many trucks and professional movers are needed to get the job done in one day, safely and efficiently and without multiple trips back and forth. We believe on most medium to large jobs the POWER OF 3 is the best! In our professional opinion, a 3-person crew on most jobs can save you time and money.

Intrastate
(Over 56 miles- Within the state of Washington)
All moving over 56 miles of the Tri-Cities but within the state of Washington is done by weight and distance. There are other factors to consider that may add to the cost such as:
· Access- stairs, long carries, elevators, remote destinations
· Packing and materials
· Bulky items- gun safes, pianos, hot-tubs, etc
· Mileage- we charge $1 per mile, 1 way (per truck)
· Wait time and traffic
Free estimates are required for intrastate moving!
Interstate
(Outside Washington State)
All moving outside Washington state with the exception of North Central Oregon (which we do as local) is considered interstate hauling done exclusively with our affiliation with Wheaton Van Lines. Similar to intrastate moving, it is done by weight and distance. More so, there are other factors that may to the cost such as:
· Shuttles- this is if a 53 ft truck cannot access your pick-up or destination
· Packing and materials
· Bulky items- gun safes, pianos, hot-tubs, etc, kayaks
· Mileage- how far you are going (done by zip code to zip code
Free estimates are required for intrastate moving!
